Professional Class

 Join our professional company class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, free of charge.

Classes will vary in content, reflecting the company's practice and artistic work. 

Classes are usually 9.30am-10.30am on Tuesday and 10am - 11am on Thursday. Please check for change in times.

After class, you're invited to stay and hot-desk in our social space for up to an hour – an opportunity to catch up on admin, connect with other artists or simply enjoy a coffee.

We also have two studio spaces available to hire by the hour for rehearsals, creative development or independent practice. Please enquire for availability.

Our studio is easy to reach by public transport and offers free on-site parking, making it simple to train, create and connect.

We'd love to welcome you. Spaces are available by online pre-booking only and are subject to availability.

Important Information:

• This opportunity is for North East based graduate and professional dancers with a minimum 2yrs vocational dance training.

• This offer is to join balletLORENT company class and access our Social Space for hot-desking for free for up to an hour after class.

• Classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays when the company is working in our studios. Dates are limited. Please see our booking page for available dates.

• Studio hire available for a cost, subject to availability. Please enquire for more information.

• balletLORENT cannot cover any expenses incurred by dancers attending sessions.  

Code of Conduct: 

• You will be joining the balletLORENT professional class, which our dancers use to prepare for the day's rehearsals. 

• Classes are led by our Creative Team and company dancers. 

• Guests must arrive early to sign in and warm up. Latecomers may not be able to join class.

• We expect guests to work professionally at all times.

• We are not able to offer coaching, mentoring or additional guidance. 

• If the class teacher or Creative Team feel a guest is disrupting the class, they may be asked to leave. 

• Guests are advised to inform the class teacher of any existing injuries or medical conditions which may affect their ability to fully participate. Our class teacher will support guests in adapting material around injuries, but it is the guest’s responsibility to ensure they are working safely, within their capabilities at all times. 

• Places are limited. Admittance is by pre booking only. Guests should inform us if they are unable to attend a booked class as soon as possible so that we can release the space for other dancers.

• balletLORENT reserves the right to cancel a class, amend times, or close a class to guests at any time. We will endeavour to inform booked guests. In the event of a cancelled, amended or closed class, balletLORENT will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the guest.
